The team is looking forward to the Festival Italia this Sunday at Brands Hatch, probably our most popular race planned for this year. Looking at the forecast, it is expected we will have a dry weekend with temperatures reaching 20 degrees and partially cloudy. We have a new set of the Nankang AR-1 for dry but will still take the Nankang NS-2R for any unexpected downpours.

On Friday the car is booked in for a full day’s testing with 4 sessions split throughout the day. The weather for Friday looks much the same as Sunday with partial clouds and 18 degrees. The hope is to get the driver and car dialled in to the circuit and get as close to an optimum setup as possible in the time allowed.

Sunday sees qualifying and two races for the Italiano vs Inglese Allcomers Race for cars built in England as well as Italy. There are no classes in this race and it is just a straight fight to the chequered flag. Last year’s race saw strong lap times from Ferrari 355s as well as the English contingent in a Mini Miglia.
